PLAY, LISTEN, VIBRATE, SMILE!

For fans of The Crystal Method, Fat Boy Slim, Moby and The Chemical Brothers; The Production Club's Follow Your Bliss is a collection of songs chock full of punchy, infectious grooves based on a simple philosophy; Make music that¹s good for the soul.

The Production Club is the brainchild of Wally Gagel, musician, songwriter and producer of the Folk Implosion, Old 97¹s, the eels, and many others. Follow Your Bliss was recorded at Gagel's Silverlake home studio near the fabled creative ground of Beck, Elliot Smith and the Dust Brothers. The record features vocal performances by John Doe (X), Lou Barlow(Sebadoh), Tanya Donelly (Belly/Breeders), the Incredible Moses LeroyEmm Gryner (David Bowie), Elan Atias (Wailers) and Hafdis Huld (Gus Gus); all friends and artists that Gagel has worked with over the years.

Gagel began playing out in the Boston club scene at a very young age, including a stint with the original synth-punk outfit Jeff and Jane, who he first saw back up the Clash on their debut American tour. He quickly gained notice as a producer while working at the legendary Fort Apache studios where he recorded such great artists as Superchunk, Belly, Juliana Hatfield, Buffalo Tom, Come, and Sebadoh.

After producing and co-writing the top 40 hit "Natural One" with the Folk Implosion for the controversial film, Kids, Gagel decided to try life on the road with A&M recording artist's Orbit, whom he had previously worked with at his own bliss studios. After touring the country numerous times with Orbit, including a run on the final Lollopalooza tour, Gagel moved to Los Angeles to continue his production and songwriting work.

Since landing in LA he has signed a publishing deal with BMG music and has worked with the Dust Brothers, PJ Olsson, the Rolling Stones, Cave In and many others. He is currently recording the UK band Muse.
